As of late, gaming notebooks were typically built to order by special resellers. Obviously for the companies they were massively profitable despite not shifting in large numbers. The price was just too high to justify buying these kinds of laptop for the masses. In my view they were the best laptop computers around. Despite the excitement created I don’t think they were good sellers because I do not think people would buy laptop computers instead of desktop computers as they were not really good value. Recently all that has seemed to have altered as the large players have learn ‘t of the opportunities in laptops for gaming.
Just think about how much revenue these big brands could be making particularly when employing mass production. Its surely a great option to larger profits. Also they are aware they can induce us to buy laptop computers like these better than small outfits. For sure this would be the demise of local retailers? The top notch technology will rapidly make its path into the view of the everyday consumers. Customers just feel much more confident making a massive purchase from an established name.
I guess its funny that because it comes with the brand name they are automatically perceived as the best laptop computers. In my opinion though, this is actually a source of hope for the small players in retail. Customizing the specification is a thing all us geek’s enjoy. Such consumers are usually techies and can consider all the technical literature. In some situations the speed is far more important than the looks for particular kinds of customers.
Certainly from the customers way of looking at things, its a good thing. Improved technology will be more purchasable in the future for most people as it will act to push margins down further. Its hard to say what will occur to be honest as the market is a fast moving one. Premium prices should continue and be expected with the best laptop computers is what I am thinking. Competition always pushes companies to design better products and provide increased value so that looks hopeful.
